The key objective of this theme is to ensure education opportunities for children from underprivileged backgrounds. Besides formal education, literacy and informal education facilities have been provided to women and children of vulnerable communities, considering the context and situations. The interventions raised awareness of the beneficiaries on different aspects of life and livelihood and eventually created a sense of empowerment. Between 2001 and 2023, ASEAB implemented ten projects to achieve the aim of this theme. Out of the projects, one project has been in operation since 2018 to create learning opportunities for Rohingyas. ASEAB Shiksha Niketon is a formal school catering to mainstream education since 2007. BDesh Foundation, Mafiq Foundation, Centre for Zakat Management, and the Government of Bangladesh (GOB) have partnered with ASEAB to support the activities under this theme.
