Professor Md Mokhtar Ahmad is a leading Islamic scholar and currently works as the Director of the Daffodil Centre for Islamic Studies at the Daffodil International University. Studied Islamic Studies at the University of Dhaka, he previously served as an associate professor for the International Islamic University (IIUC), Dhaka Campus, for seven years. At the IIUC, he taught Islamic banking, financial system, management, and business. He is a faculty member at the Islamic University of Technology (IUT), governed by the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC). He is a dedicated advocate of promoting benevolence and cooperation in society and has been on the board of different social and development organizations. Different TV channels frequently invite him to give specialist thoughts on Islamic and social issues, and he is active on social media as an Islamic influencer with a massive number of followers.
