Md. Rafiqul Islam has been working at ASEAB since the beginning of the microfinance program in 1998. He has worked on foreign-funded projects of various donor agencies such as SHOUHARDO, Food Security Programme, Char Livelihoods Program, etc. He is also trained in disaster management and has implemented training programs in disaster management as a trainer. He is currently serving as the Coordinator of the Islamic Microfinance Program. He coordinates with various financial institutions, Bangladesh Bank, and the Micro-credit Regulatory Authority (MRA). He has an MA from National University, Bangladesh.
